BCAT is a small, but highly ambitious Academy Trust consisting of 3 secondary schools in Kent, Barton Court Grammar School, The Charles Dickens School and the new free school, Barton Manor School.
Barton Court Grammar School (BCGS) is a state, selective, co-educational school with a strong reputation for its high academic standards and its caring and supportive ethos. The School is an accredited ‘Advanced Thinking School’ and is also the lead school of Barton Court Academy Trust (BCAT). The Charles Dickens School (CDS), a state, non-selective, co-educational secondary school joined BCAT on 1 March 2017 and Barton Manor School (BMS), our free school, which is also a non-selective co-educational secondary school opens in September 2022 to Year 7.

The Post
Our brand new free School is looking for an experienced and professional Receptionist/Administrator to provide a first class service on Reception starting on 1 September 2022. Meeting/greeting, telephone duties and processing a wide range of administrative tasks will form the backbone of this role.
Candidates should be well organised, diplomatic, confidential and calm with good interpersonal skills. Excellent IT skills, a sense of humour and a willingness to work as part of a team will be key to ensuring Reception is professionally managed.
This is a term time only role with two staff development days.
Hours are 8am-4pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am-3.30pm Fridays with a 30 minute lunch break – 37 in total.
