Don't Miss the Year 10 Online Revision Parent Workshop!

We would like to invite you to our Year 10 Online Parent Revision Workshop taking place on Wednesday 4 March 2026 at 6pm via Microsoft Teams (https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/). Your child has been added to a team group entitled: ‘BMS – Revision Workshop Y10’. Should you and your child wish to join the event, a Teams call will be held within this channel at 6pm. Simply click: ‘Join’.

This session is designed to help you support your child as they begin preparing for their GCSE studies and upcoming assessments. The workshop will include a series of short, informative presentations from key staff:

  • Assistant Headteacher for Teaching and Learning – sharing effective revision strategies, practical tips and ways to help students build strong study habits at home.
  • Head of Year 10 – speaking about the importance of revision, maintaining balance and supporting students’ wellbeing throughout the exam preparation period.
  • Director of Teaching and Learning – introducing the science of learning, including insights into metacognition, memory and how students can revise in ways that lead to deeper understanding and long-term retention.
