Support Our Students in the Kent Online Harms Podcast Competition
In November, we were pleased to welcome the team from Collaborate Digital into Barton Manor School to deliver a series of online harms assemblies alongside an interactive podcasting workshop for our students.
Speaking about the initiative, Matthew Scott, Kent Police and Crime Commissioner, said: “Collaborative Digital have created a project that really resonates with young people, combining wide-reaching engagement with focused workshop activity that makes a genuine impact.”
As part of the programme, students worked collaboratively to create their own podcasts exploring issues around online safety. We are delighted to share the judging panel’s choice for our School which is entitled Cyberbullying Rap: Barton Manor School
The Kent secondary schools’ competition officially launches this week, on Thursday, with 14 schools taking part. It is a fantastic opportunity to promote positive online messages across school communities, while recognising the creativity and commitment of our students.
