MP Visit to Barton Manor School
Posted on: 27/06/2025We were very privileged to welcome Rosie Duffield MP to our School on Friday 27 June. She delivered a talk to a select group of students in all three year groups, around her life and career as an MP. She then took questions from the audience.
The level of student engagement was outstanding. So many of our students posed very thoughtful questions which enabled Rosie to give a real insight into a range of political issues currently faced by UK citizens.
Ms Duffield was especially impressed with the students interest in politics and their knowledge of current affairs. She has kindly offered to visit the school during the next academic year to deliver some workshops.
