Students Selected for Prestigious National Dance Programme
Posted on: 20/09/2026We are delighted to announce that our dancers have been selected to take part in Making Moves 2026/27, a nationally recognised choreography and performance project led by Sadler’s Wells, one of the UK's leading organisations for dance.
As part of this exciting programme, students will work with creative resources developed by professional choreographer Vicki Igbokwe-Ozoagu, exploring innovative choreographic approaches and developing their own original dance work. Throughout the year, participants will have the opportunity to strengthen their performance skills, build their confidence and express their creativity through movement.
Making Moves brings together young dancers from schools and groups across England, encouraging collaboration, artistic development and a deeper understanding of contemporary dance. Students will create and refine an original piece which they will have the opportunity to share with wider audiences.
The programme culminates in a series of regional showcase events in Spring 2027, where students will perform alongside other young dancers from across the country. A select number of groups will then be invited to perform at the prestigious National Platform at Sadler’s Wells East in July 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to engage with a high-quality national arts programme, develop valuable creative and performance skills, and represent the school on a wider stage. We look forward to following their journey and celebrating their achievements throughout the year.
