School Community Unites for a Special Iftar Celebration
Posted on: 14/03/2026On Friday 6 March, our school community came together for a truly special Iftar celebration, marking a meaningful moment during the holy month of Ramadan. The event welcomed 92 staff, students and their families, creating a warm, uplifting atmosphere that reflected our shared values of unity, generosity and togetherness.
The evening was enriched by the generous donations of food brought by families and colleagues. From cherished traditional dishes to homemade favourites, every contribution added to a vibrant, diverse feast. This collective sharing transformed the meal into a powerful symbol of kindness and community spirit.
Our Iftar gathering celebrated not only the commitment and discipline observed throughout Ramadan, but also the essence of who we are as a school. With families from many different backgrounds attending, the event beautifully highlighted the strength of our multicultural community and our deep respect for one another’s traditions.
Bringing staff, students and families together made this Iftar far more than just a shared meal – it became a moment of connection, appreciation and celebration of the diversity that enriches our school every day.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, contributed food or supported the event. Your generosity and participation helped create a warm and memorable occasion that truly reflects the spirit of our school community.
